Thrive Shepton are delighted to be working with our client in Yetminster, who are actively recruiting for a Wholesale Packer to join their production team.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out final checks of packed products to ensure the correct item has been packed and the specified weight matches the customer order
• Ensure the work area is tidy and clear at the end of each shift
• Ensure customer, company and site compliance requirements are consistently met
• Always comply with company policies and procedures relating to safe food handling and hygiene
• Report any accidents and absences in line with site reporting procedures
• Carry out all tasks in a safe manner in accordance with Health & Safety responsibilities

Do you have:

• The ability to work under your own initiative
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A high level of attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed operating procedures
• The ability to follow instructions, particularly those relating to personal Health & Safety and the wearing of PPE
• Good physical fitness, as the role involves a substantial amount of physical activity
• A can-do attitude with good communication skills
• A basic understanding of verbal and written English

Working Hours:

• 0630-1700 - Monday to Friday
• Including 2 x 30-minute breaks
