Lab Technician

Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our client in the Trowbridge area who are actively looking to recruit a Lab Technician on a temporary basis.

What you will be doing:

• Assist the Senior Chemist and Chemist with developing and manufacturing formulations.
• Prepared samples and carried out stability checks.
• Supported testing and product trials.
• Maintained laboratory equipment and work areas.
• Kept accurate records of laboratory work.
• Followed GLP and GMP procedures and standards.
• Provided feedback on formulation performance.
• Assisted with troubleshooting and investigations.
• Worked with different teams during product development and transfer.

What you will need to succeed:

• Strong attention to detail
• Strong IT skills
• Good communication
• Good teamwork skills
• Flexible, adaptable, and willing to learn
• Relevant science degree desirable
• Minimum A-Level Science and GCSE Maths & English
• Experience working in within a lab is desirable

What you will receive in return:

• Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week
• 3 months fixed term
• £27500 per annum
