HGV Class 2 Driver

At Thrive Group, we are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a well-established client based in the Bridgwater area.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy transport operation offering ongoing work, competitive pay rates and excellent earning potential. Working days will be Tuesday to Saturday.

Excellent Pay Rates (Minimum 8-hour shift):

• Monday to Friday (Days): £16.50 per hour
• Saturday (Days): £18.99 per hour
• Sunday (Days): £19.86 per hour
• Ongoing, full-time work available.

Your Role:

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering chilled and frozen goods to customers across the region. No two days are the same, with a varied route each shift.

Your duties will include:

• Completing multi-drop deliveries and collections.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time.
• Completing all delivery paperwork accurately.
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations.
• Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport legislation.

What We're Looking For

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• A flexible and reliable approach to work.
• A positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• Previous multi-drop experience is beneficial but not essential.
